Intel Mobile Voltage Positioning (IMVP) is an advanced voltage regulation technology for Intel's 
high performance mobile processors.   Thermal design is critical to compete in the mobile high 
performance segments and IMVP technology will provide designers with a competitive edge.  
Utilizing IMVP technology for microprocessor voltage regulator designs will significantly reduce 
CPU power, which will provide thermal benefits needed for thin and light performance systems.
