LED Troubleshooting
Use the following reader and D9210B LED patterns to troubleshoot the D9210B. It is important to use the Door Control
function to validate actual door states when troubleshooting.
Reader Action
If Reader LED is

Red: Valid token to activate
strike.
Locked
Red to Green for
duration of strike time.
Green: Valid token will not
activate strike because strike
is latched to allow access.
Unlocked
Green to Red to Green
Access Denied
Red: Valid token format not
added.
Locked
Red to Green to Red
(pattern repeats twice)
Red: Valid token but level is
turned off.
Locked
Red to Green to Red
(pattern repeats twice)
Red: No access allowed
regardless of level because
door is secured.
