The STB-1001S offers IP video services like Video-on-Demand and IPTV 

based on MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression technology to reach a wider 

audience or achieve a higher service density, and thus increase bandwidth 

efficiency. This enables Telcos to expand their subscriber base and offer two 

or more video streams per household, where only one was previously 

possible. This creates opportunities for substantial revenue and faster return 

on IPTV investments.

The STB-1001S supports standard definition in MPEG-4 part 10/H.264 

format. H.264 standard definition videos offer exciting and dramatic 

viewing enjoyments with greater realism and more details, especially on 

larger displays, with less bandwidth required.

protection and right management solutions without smartcards.

The STB-1001S is supported by leading IPTV Middleware providers as part
