Configuration Troubleshooting

No Connection
Physical Link problem. Check to see if the port LED is lit. If
the LED port is not lit, then you may have a bad cable
connection.

You should make sure that your network topology contains no
data path loops. Between any two end nodes, there should be
only one active cabling path at any time. Data path loops will
cause broadcast storms that will severely impact your network
performance. See the section on Diminished Network

The EXT FLT LED indicates that communications could not
be established with one or more remote partner devices on an
active port or ports. Ports which were configured to be up (via
