The Temperature Status register provides status information on the delta
temperature for each slot in the mainframe (see Figure 3–18). You can detect
temperature problems with any one of the mainframe slots by monitoring the
corresponding bit in the Temperature Status register. If a problem occurs, the
corresponding bit will be set in the register.
