Performance Verification
Use the steps in this chapter to verify that the IntelliFrame Mainframe operates
properly. The checks consist of checking the power supply voltages at the 25-pin

Equipment Required
You will need the following equipment to complete the performance verification
checks in this chapter:

H Digital Voltmeter (Tektronix DM250 series digital voltmeter)
H Oscilloscope, 20 MHz BW, with 1X Probe with < one-inch ground lead,
(Tektronix TDS500A series oscilloscope with a P6101B probe)
DC Voltage Regulation
The DC voltage regulation can be verified by following the steps listed under
Functional Check beginning on page 1–25. If you have the VX1410A with
Option 1M or the VX1420A, perform the additional following steps:

1. Scroll through the various status messages on the front panel display and
check that the display does not flash and that no failures appear.
2. Compare the seven voltages that you measured under Functional Check on
page 1–25 against the readouts of the voltages on the display.
3. Verify that the voltage readings on the display are within

measured at the 25-pin connector.
