When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed 
including the following:
• Read all instructions before using your kettle “

• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• If unit is operated in any manner other than indicated in this manual, it may cause material 
damages or personal injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced 
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they 
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person 
responsible for their safety.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children to ensure 
they do not play with the appliance.
• Always use the kettle on a dry, level surface to avoid interruption of airflow underneath 
the unit.
• Ensure that the kettle is properly located on the power base before plugging into the wall 
or switching on. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position “ 
 
” then remove plug 
from wall outlet.
• Remove the kettle from power base before filling or pouring. Do not attempt to remove 
the kettle from the power base until it is switched off, manually or automatically.
• Use the kettle only with the power base supplied and vice versa.
• Extreme caution must be used when handling or moving kettle and pouring from the 
kettle containing boiling water.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is open during the heating cycle.
• Do not use your kettle if any part is broken.
• Do not touch the kettle’s hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Be sure to turn the unit off  “ 
 
” after each use of your kettle.
• Always turn the kettle off  “ 
 
” first before unplugging it from the outlet.
• Turn the kettle off  “ 
 
” and unplug the power cord from outlet when not in use and 
before cleaning. Allow the kettle parts to cool before putting on or taking off parts and 
before cleaning the appliance.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, 
electric shock or injury.
