The Vauxhall Full-size airbag system 

comprises several individual systems.

Front airbag system 3

The front airbag system will be triggered in 

the event of a serious accident involving a 

frontal impact and forms safety cushions 

for the driver and front passenger. 

The forward movement of the driver and 

front passenger is checked and the risk 

of injuries to the upper body and head are 

thereby substantially reduced.

Side airbag system 3 

The side airbag system triggers when 

a side-on collision occurs and provides 

a safety barrier for the driver and/or 

passenger in the respective front door 

area. This reduces the risk of injury to the 

upper body considerably in case of a side-

impact.
