If the B

B key is pressed twice within one second, and is

held down for more than 2 seconds the second time,
then the remote control will send the OFF code for all
modes.

Certain satellite recievers do not have a volume control,
in satellite mode the ROC 3404 remote control allows
the volume of the television set to be controlled. For
satellite recievers that possess a volume control, it is
possible to select the device that the MUTE (

) and

keys will control in each of the modes: i.e., the

volume of the television set or the volume of the satellite
reciever.

To choose, proceed as follows:

1. Press the TV key (the remote control must be in TV

mode for this procedure).

2. Hold down the S key until the last mode selected

(TV) blinks 3 times and then remains lit.

3. Release the S key.

4. Press the MUTE (

) key for around 8 seconds.

The TV mode indicator light will blink and go out
for about 8 seconds before blinking once; at this
point, release the MUTE (

) key.

5. If in SAT mode, the remote control controlled the

volume of the television set, it will from now on
control the volume of the satellite reciever; if it
controlled the volume of the satellite reciever, it will
from now on control the volume of the television set.

The THOMSON NAVILIGHT system allows you easy

access to the settings of your television (TV) or video

recorder (VCR) including this feature.

1. Switch on the set you want to control.

2. Press the key corresponding to the type of set you

want to use (TV, VCR/DVD, or SAT). In the
VCR/DVD

position, make sure that the AV mode is

activated for the TV set (the SCART socket must be
selected).

3. Press key MENU once.

4. Navigate through the setting menus with the keys up,

, left, right (

p, q, t, u).

5. Validate with OK.

6. To leave the menus, press key EXIT once.
