Chapter 2 

• Initial Configuration 

MGW 2400 lets you set the IP addresses for multiple Default 
Name servers (DNS) manually. You must enter all DNS IP 
addresses, even if you want to add or update only one of them. 

1.  Log on to MGW 2400’s Configuration Utility as 

Administrator; the Main menu appears. 

2. Press 

2 (Change Network Settings); the Network menu 

appears. 

3. In 

the 

Network menu, press 6 (Add or Remove DNS IP 

Address); the DNS Options menu appears as illustrated 
below and displays previously defined DNS IP addresses.

5.  To return to the Network menu, press 0 (Return to 

Network Menu); MGW 2400 returns to the Network 
menu.
