5.2.3. Failure and Error Messages

These messages will be displayed in the event of a 

RAID or disk failure, or an error during a process.

RAID Fail

code: 0

The RAID array failed. There are not 

enough disks for the RAID array to 

operate.

A disk is re-installed

RAID Fail

code: 1 <---->

The RAID array failed. The sequence 

of the disks in the array is incorrect. 

The current sequence is displayed 

within the “<---->” space.

The original disk sequence is 

restored

❖

RAID Fail

code: 2

The RAID array failed but all original 

disks are existing after restarting the 

unit.

The RAID array is recreated.

❖

DISK x Fail

Disk “x” failed.

The failed disk is replaced

❖

FAN Fail

xxxx rpm

Fan failure.  xxxx rpm = the current 

speed of the fan

The failed fan is repaired or replaced
