If you interrupt cooking by opening the oven door and do not
resume it afterwards, press the Pause/cancel button to stop
the programme completely. Otherwise the programme will
continue the next time the oven is started.
Once the cooking time has passed, the microwave oven
stops automatically, the display will show End and 6 beeps
are heard. If you do not open the oven door or press the
Pause/cancel button, the oven will beep again after 3
minutes.
Each time one of the microwave oven buttons is pressed, a beep
is heard.

Cooking functions
The microwave oven has the following cooking functions:
microwave function, grill function and 2 combination functions, 3
defrosting functions and 8 automatic programmes.
SELECTION OF COOKING FUNCTION
Microwave function:
1.  Press the Power button a number of times until the display
shows the required power level.
2.  Set the cooking time in minutes using the setting buttons. If
you hold the buttons down, the minute number will change
rapidly.
3.  Press the Instant/start button to commence cooking.
The grill/combination function:
1.  Press the Grill/combi button one, two or three times to select
the required function. In the grill function (G), the heating
element is active during the entire cooking process. In
combination function 1 (C1), food is cooked with 10 seconds
of microwave power and 23 seconds grill power alternately;
in combination function 2 (C2) cooking uses 18 seconds of
microwave power and 15 seconds grill power alternately.
2.  Set the cooking time in minutes using the setting buttons. If
you hold the buttons down, the minute number will change
rapidly.
3.  Press the Instant/start button to commence cooking.
Defrost function:
1.  Press the Defrost button one, two or three times to select the
required defrosting function. D1 is used for meat, D2 is used
for poultry, and D3 is used for fish and shellfish.
2.  Enter the weight of the food to be defrosted using the setting
buttons. When defrosting meat, the weight can be set to
between 100 and 2000 g, for poultry the weight can be set to
between 200 and 3000 g, and for fish and shellfish, the
weight can be set to between 100 and 900 g. The display
shows the set weight in kilograms.
3.  Press the Instant/start button. Defrosting starts.
4.  When the oven beeps during defrosting, you should open the
oven door and turn the food. Separate individual pieces that
are frozen together as soon as possible. Press the
Instant/start button to resume defrosting.
5.  Cover thin areas of the food (e.g. edges, the wings on poultry
or exposed bones) with small pieces of foil suitable for
microwave ovens.
6.  Once the defrosting programme has ended, you should allow
the food to stand covered for 5-15 minutes (chops, mince),
10-30 minutes (poultry, whole pieces of meat) or 5-30
minutes (chicken pieces).
Automatic programs:
1.  Press the setting buttons to select the required automatic
programme (see table below). All programmes use high
microwave power.

2.  Press the Instant/start button to commence cooking.
Automatic start:
1.  The clock must be set (see section "Setting the clock").
2.  Select cooking function and cooking time.
3.  Hold the Clock button pressed down for 3 seconds. The
display will now show the current hour and you can set the
time for cooking in the same way as the clock is set.
4.  When you have set the time, a long beep will be heard, and
the oven will show the current time. You can see the cooking
time set by pressing the Clock button. The programmed time
will be shown for 3 seconds.
5.  Press the Instant/start button to commence cooking
immediately. Press the Pause/cancel button to cancel the
time setting.
6.  Cooking starts automatically at the set time. Remember to
put the food in the oven!
CHILD SAFETY LOCK
The child safety lock prevents small children from using the
microwave oven. The microwave oven cannot be operated as
long as the child safety lock is active. The child safety lock is
activated by holding the Pause/cancel button pressed down for
3 seconds. A beep is heard and OFF is shown in the display. The
child safety lock is deactivated by holding the Stop/Clear button
pressed for 3 seconds.
TIPS FOR FOOD PREPARATION
When preparing food in the microwave oven, the following basic
rules apply:
Cooking time
Smaller quantities of food cook more rapidly than large
quantities. If the amount of food is doubled, the preparation time
must be correspondingly almost doubled.
Small pieces of meat, small fish and chopped vegetables cook
more quickly than large pieces. For the same reason, it is
recommended, if, for example, you wish to make goulash, stews
