Continental’s 419F is a modern, versatile and high 
efficiency 250 kW shortwave transmitter designed 
specifically for international broadcasting service. 
Designed for continuous operation, this transmitter can 
be tuned to any frequency in the international 
broadcast bands between 3.9 and 22 megahertz in 
less than one minute.

In an effort to improve reliability and 
dependability, Continental teamed 
with Comet to identify replacement 
capacitors for the Continental Type 
419F Transmitters.

Continental was interested in 
continued support of existing 
installations.

Continental has verified these 
replacements and begun replacing 
failed capacitors in the field.

Since difference can occur over time 
in specific installations, it is always
