1. Open the battery cover on the back of the clock radio by sliding it in the direction
of the arrow. Remove any possible insulation film from the battery. The insulating
film is used to maintain battery capacity during transport and storage.

3. Plug the mains adaptor both into a power point and the clock’s power socket.

• During power cuts the clock’s battery maintains all time and alarm settings.
