Read these important safety instructions:  
• CONSIDER YOUR WORK AREA ENVIRONMENT. Don’t use The ATD Blower in 
damp or wet locations. Don’t operate The ATD Blower in presence of flammable liquids, 
gases like gasoline or other fuels, lighter fluid, cleaners, oil-based paints, natural gas, 
hydrogen, coal dust, magnesium dust, grain dust, or explosive dust like gun powder. Do 
not use or store near hazardous or toxic materials.  
• USE SAFETY GLASSES. Also use face or dust mask if work area is dusty. The 
operation of any utility blower can result in foreign objects being blown into the eyes, 
which can result in severe eye damage. Always wear safety goggles complying with 
ANSI Z87.1. 
• DON’T ABUSE CORD. Never pull the ATD Blower cord or yank it to disconnect from 
receptacle. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord. Keep cord away from heat, oil, and 
sharp edges. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as handle, close a door on cord, or 
pull cord around sharp edges or corners. 
• SECURE THE ATD BLOWER if used in an unstable area such as on a moving RV, 
etc. 
• MAINTAIN THE ATD BLOWER. Keep Blower, motor and blower wheel clean. For 
safer operation, follow instructions for attaching accessories. Keep handle dry, clean and 
free from oil, grease and water. 
• DISCONNECT THE ATD BLOWER when not in use, before servicing, and when 
attaching accessories. Turn off air mover before unplugging. Don’t operate unit 
unattended. 
• NEVER stick a screwdriver or any other object into the ventilation openings or air 
intake areas. Do not operate with any ventilation openings blocked; keep free of dust, 
lint, hair or anything that may reduce airflow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all 
parts of body away form openings and moving parts. DO NOT restrict air intake. 
• INSPECT FOR DAMAGE before using The ATD Blower. Determine before use if it will 
operate properly. Check for alignment and/or binding of the motor and blower wheel. 
Inspect cord periodically for damage. Check the switch by turning the ATD Blower on 
and off while unit is plugged in. 
• RETURN THE ATD BLOWER for repair or to replace damaged parts if any of them are 
found to be broken or if your ATD Blower is inoperative. The ATD Blower products may 
only be serviced and repaired by the official The ATD Blower Repair Center.
