Inactivate the AMASS file system with the
following command:

Check the integrity of the file system by running the
UNIX

fsck

command.

For barcode-reading libraries:

-L

Enter the preprinted alphanumeric
barcode of the Backup Volume.

For standalone drives:

-d

tapedevice

Enter the standalone tape device that
reads the Backup Volume. For example,
-d

/dev/rst12.
