The following instructions describe how to reset the RECOVER button to the default, of 
restoring satellite viewing by tuning your TV (or VCR) to channel 3, 4, and other inputs.

Press and hold the TV mode button until all mode buttons light up.

Press STAR (*).

Press the ZERO (0) button three times.

Press POUND (#) and the TV mode button will flash three times.

Installers use discrete power on and power off IR commands when programming macro 
commands into universal remote controls. Using an on-only or off-only command is more 
effective than a toggle on/off command when trying to make sure the satellite TV receiver 
is reliably in one state or the other. To use these discrete power on and power off 
commands, complete the following:

Program the remote control to control all the devices that you would like to control.

Press SAT until all the Mode buttons light up.

Press POWER.

Press VOLUME UP for discrete power on. Press VOLUME DOWN for discrete power off.

Press any button to end this procedure.
