To connect an optional headset to this device, insert the plug on the 
headset into the headset jack on the device.

Insert the headset plug into the jack as far as it goes. Incomplete 

connection of the headset plug can result in abnormal sounds.

When using headphones with a 3.5 mm (1/8 inches) stereo phone 

plug, use the supplied stereo mini plug adapter. You must not use an 
adapter other than the supplied one. 

When using the headset or headphones, be careful not to increase 

the volume too much.

Audio volume differs depending on data to be played back. If the 

volume control has been set to the maximum level, unexpected 
excessive volume may damage your ears. Before playing back data, set 
the volume control to the minimum level, and then gradually increase the 
volume to the appropriate level.

Headset Jack
