JUNCTION BOX ASSEMBLY CEILING PLATE 
CMA-106
 
The Ceiling Plates are designed for ease of installation with any height of ceiling.  By using any length of 
standard NPT 1½” pipe threaded both ends, you can extend the height capabilities to meet your needs. 
WARNING:  IMPROPER INSTALLATION MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY!  
When mounting Chief Manufacturing accessories, the structural system and mounting method 
MUST be capable of supporting 5 times the combined weight of the total installation. 
The maximum weight to be installed on the ceiling plate is 50 pounds (22.7 Kg). 
 
Unpack and check contents: 
(1) Ceiling 
Plate 
(2) #10 
Fender 
Washer 
(2)  #10-32 Socket Screw 
(2)  #10 Lock Washer 
(1)  1/8” Hex Key 
(1) #10-24 x 1/4” Socket Screw 
(1)  3/32” Hex Key 
1.  Securely install the Junction Box Assembly, per manufacturer instruction. (SEE WARNING ABOVE)
2.  Using the #10-32 screws, fender washers, lock washers and hex key provided, install ceiling plate (SEE 
DIAGRAM BELOW).  
3.  Install 1 ½” NPT into fitting and secure using #10-24 x 1/4” set screw. 
4.  Follow the Ceiling Mount Instructions for mating components or mounts
