Q
Why does the battery life get shorter in
standby mode?
A
The battery is worn out. As time passes, the
battery life gradually becomes shorter. If the
battery lasts about half the amount of time as
when first purchased, it’s time to purchase a
new battery.
Q
Why does the battery run out so quickly
during normal use?
A
It is due to the user environment or a large
number of calls or weak signal.
Q
Why is no number dialed when you recall a
Contacts entry?
A
Check that the number has been stored
correctly by using the Contacts feature.
Re-store them, if necessary.
Q
Incoming calls do-not reach me.
A
Is your phone switched on (
pressed
for more than three seconds)? Are you
accessing the right cellular network? Or, you
may have set an incoming call barring option.
Q
I cannot find the lock, PIN, or PUK code.
What is my PIN?
A
The default lock code is ‘0000’. If you forget
or lose the lock code, contact your phone
dealer. If you forget or lose a PIN or PUK
code, or if you have not received such a
code, contact 3 Customer Services.
Q
What happens to the handset if it is dropped?
A
The handset could power off or reset, but this
does not necessarily imply any permanent
damage.
