If it has been determined that the heater be mounted straight down, i.e., with no angle on its pivot point, then the
heater should be mounted NO CLOSER than 14” from the ceiling. The side clearances should be NO CLOSER than 12” to
a side wall, and the rear clearances should be NO CLOSER than 12” to a rear wall. Use the LOWEST pair of holes in the
mounting bracket extension arms. See illustration below.

Straight Mounting
If it has been determined that the heater be mounted at an angle, up to 30 degrees on its pivot, then the heater should
be mounted NO CLOSER than 18” from the ceiling. The side clearances should be NO CLOSER than 12” to a side wall,
and the rear clearances should be NO CLOSER than 12” to a rear wall. Use the HIGHEST pair of holes in the mounting
bracket extension arms. See illustration below.
