solution that matches the processor. The Intel

Variable

Speed Fan, designed for higher-performance proces-

sors, has a thermistor (temperature-sensitive device)

and circuitry that continuously self-adjusts the fan speed

(rpm) based on internal chassis temperatures for the

optimum blend of sound and performance.

Tested to the highest standards, the Intel-designed thermal solution has been validated for a variety 

of computing environments.

The Celeron D processor, manufactured on 90 nm process technology, includes architectural 

features that take advantage of software applications optimized for Streaming SIMD Extensions 3

(SSE3). With 533-MHz system bus and 256 KB of L2 cache, the Celeron D processors are

designed to enhance the quality and value of the Celeron line of processors. Compatible with 

system boards that support 478-pin processors and 533-MHz system bus, the Celeron D 

processor offers the system builder greater platform flexibility.
