To Start the Dishwasher
1 - Always use Rinse Aid
2 - Use Auto Cycle
3 - Press Sanitize button
The sanitize feature is available only in the Heavy, Auto, 
Normal and Half Load cycles. Press the “Sanitize” button 
to activate the sanitation features during these cycles. The 
sanitize LED will light when sanitation requirements are met. 
For up to 45% dryer dishes:
Heavy Wash: Uses higher water temperature and pressure to remove baked-
on foods  
Auto Wash:  Reads the size and soil of each load, adjusting water and heat to 
the ideal balance for optimum cleaning results 
Normal Wash: Cleans normal loads with loosely attached, normal soiling
Delicate Wash*:  Uses lower water temperature and pressure, safe for 
delicate or heirloom dishware
Express Wash*: Cleans lightly soiled loads with reduced wash time
Half Load*: Can reduce energy and water consumption when washing small 
loads that fill approximately half of the dishwasher’s capacity
Rinse & Hold*: Rinse the soil off of a partial load and hold the dishes until 
you are ready to run a full load
* Available wash cycles vary by model

model number and serial number on the label on the inside of the dishwasher door.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dishes are not drying properly: Refer to section above.
Odor: Debris at the bottom of the dishwasher or in 
the door seal can cause odor. Clean both according to 
instructions in the Use and Care Manual.
Dishwasher still on after cycle ends: Default factory 
settings have the dishwasher stay powered on after a 
cycle ends. Customer must manually turn the dishwasher 
off. Dishwasher must be powered on again in order to 
start a new cycle.
For models with a display:
 
— With door closed, press the On/Off button.
 
— Press and hold down the > button, then press 
and release the Start button. Now release the > 
button.
 
— Press the > button until the display shows “r:0...”.
 
— Press the < button to change the amount of rinse 
aid dispensed. 
r:00 = rinse aid dispenser is OFF
r:03 = medium amount of rinse aid 
r:06 = highest amount of rinse aid
 
— Press Start to save your setting.
For models without a display:
 
— With door closed, press the On/Off button.
 
— Press and hold down the > button, then press and 
release the Start button. Now release the > button.
 
— Press the > button until the “Clean” and “Refill 
Rinse Aid” LEDs are flashing.
 
— Press the < button to change the amount of rinse 
aid dispensed. 
0 LEDs flashing = rinse aid dispenser is OFF
1 LEDs flashing = lowest amount of rinse aid
2 LEDs flashing = medium amount of rinse aid 
3 LEDs flashing = highest amount of rinse aid
 
— Press Start to save your setting.
 
— Use fresh powdered detergent or detergent tabs 
for best results.
 
— 1 tablespoon will clean most loads
 
— 3 tablespoon max, do not overfill
 
— When using detergent tabs, lay them flat to avoid 
contact with the cover.  
To close the cover:
 
— Place finger on cover and slide 
closed.
 
— Push rear end of cover down 
firmly until it clicks.
To open the cover:
 
— Push the dark gray button and 
cover will slide open.
 
— Press the On/Off button to turn dishwasher on.
 
— Press the Cycle Select arrow buttons to select desired cycle.
 
— Press Start to begin the cycle.
 
— Press and hold Start until the “Active” 
LED or the wash cycle LED goes out 
(model dependent).
 
— Wait about 1 minute while the dishwasher 
drains. 
 
— The “Clean” LED will illuminate when 
done draining.
 
— Press the On/Off  button. If you 
choose to start a new cycle, turn the 
unit on again and select a cycle.

Cancelling a cycle / Reset the dishwasher
 
— Rinse aid is necessary to improve drying results.
 
— Add rinse aid when the Rinse Aid indicator light 
on the control panel illuminates.
 
— Lift tab to open the rinse aid reservoir and add 
liquid rinse aid into the oval until it is full. 
 
— Wipe up any excess rinse aid that may puddle.
