To set a static IP address for your PC:

Click on Start – Settings – Control Panel.

Double-click on the Network and Dial-up Connections icon and then on LAN Con-
nection.

On the General tab, click on Properties.

Select Internet protocol (TCP/IP) and click on Properties.
