To configure the ESEMs or SEMMs for cluster operation, perform the following steps:
1.
Locate the two-pin jumper labeled "FORCED JOINED JP8" on the ESEM or
SEMM (see Figure 4-1).

NOTE: Only the FORCE JOINED JP8 jumper has a jumper plug installed. The

Move the jumper plug to connect the two pins of the FORCED JOINED JP8

Install the two ESEMs or SEMMs into the PowerVault 2xxS storage system.
