If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, reset the unit. Disconnect the power cord and

12.3.1 Initial settings

phonebook, caller list, or redial list that is over 20 digits long.

L The cordless handset’s phonebook memory is full. Erase unnecessary
items (page 23).

Problem

I cannot hear a dial tone.
L If you used a splitter/coupler to connect the unit, remove the splitter/coupler
and connect the unit to the wall jack directly. If the unit operates properly,
check the splitter/coupler.
