2-3. Audio System
2-3-1. Setting the Intercom System
This unit can be connected to the intercom lines (producer
line and engineer line) of the two independent systems and
can be switch them.
The intercom systems conforming to this unit are 4W, RTS
and Clear-Com. The internal switches of the unit need to
be set according to the system used.

AVP-4 board (A side/panel side)
1. Selecting the intercom system
Select a system (4W, RTS or Clear-Com) respectively for
the engineer line and the producer line according to the
system used. Then, select the number of intercom line
systems (1ch or 2ch).

Set switches S610/611 (PROD SELECT) on the AVP-4
board according to the system used.

Set switches S710/711 (ENG SELECT) on the AVP-4
board according to the system used.

. When the intercom line is 1 channel :
Set switch S12 (INPUT INCOM SELECT) on the AVP-
4 board to 1 ch. Then, connect the intercom line to the
producer line of this unit.
When the switch is set in this position, connection of the
intercom line of this unit is fixed to the producer line
regardless of the setting of the INCOM PROD/ENG
switch of the HDC-950/930 and the INCOM SELECT
switch on the front panel of this unit.

them to the RTS system. Otherwise, they oscillate and
have adverse effects on the peripheral circuits.
