Connecting the Power Cord
After you insert the power module into the device, you can connect the power cord. For an AC-powered
device, use an AC power cord to connect the external power supply system; for a DC-powered device,
use a DC power cord to connect the –48 VDC equipment-room power supply system or –54 VDC RPS
supply system.

Connecting an AC Power Cord
To connect an AC power cord, follow these steps:
Step1
Switch off the AC power module.
Step2
Pull the bail latch upwards (see in

Connect one end of the AC power cord shipped with the device to the AC receptacle on the module (see

Pull the bail latch down to secure the plug to the AC receptacle (see callout 2 in
