NOTE: Both of TIME DEFROST and 
AUTO DEFROST can be set as the 
first stage. Convenience Cooking 
pads(i.e.Popcorn) cannot be used for 
multi-stage cooking.
TIME  DEFROST
1.  Touch the TIME DEFROST pad, the 
display will show dEF2.
2.  Enter desired defrosting time with 
the number pad.
NOTE: The default power setting for 
defrosting is 30% (PL3), to change the 
power level touch POWER  once to 
display the current power "PL 3", then 
press the number pad of  the power 
level you wanted.
3.  Touch START/+30 Sec to begin 
defrosting.
AUTO DEFROST
1.  Touch the AUTO DEFROST pad, the 
display will show dEF1.
2.  Enter weight to be defrosted in 
ounces (oz.) with the number pad, 
from 4 to 100 oz.
3.  Touch START/+30 Sec to begin 
defrosting.
•  After setting AUTO DEFROST, 
the oven can be programmed to 
automatically switch to multiple-stage 
cooking, follow the steps in the  
multi-stage cooking section.
•  During defrosting, you need to turn 
food over for uniform defrosting. After 
turning, touch START/+30 Sec pad to 
resume defrosting.
SETTING CHILD LOCK 
The safety lock prevents unsupervised 
operation by children. Set the function 
in standby mode.
To set: Press and hold STOP/CLEAR for 
3 seconds. Lock icon is indicated on the 
display and there will be a long beep.
To cancel: Press and hold STOP/CLEAR 
for 3 seconds, there will be a long beep. 
Lock icon disappears from the display.
MEMORY
You can store up to 5 programs into 
memory for future use:
Touch the MEMORY pad, the number 
1 will be displayed*. Set a 1 or 2 step 
cooking procedure as described above. 
Press MEMORY to save the setting. 
To use a stored program, Touch the 
MEMORY pad, the number 1 will be 
displayed. Touch the START/+30 Sec 
pad.
*Touch MEMORY repeatedly to access 
memory locations 2 through 5.
PRE-SET COOKING
1.  Program the clock if it has not been 
programmed.
2.  Set a 1 or 2 step cooking procedure 
as described above.
3.  Touch the CLOCK pad, the hour figure 
on the clock will flash
4.  Enter the time desired for the 
program to begin (example 3:15 is 
entered as 0315, 11:30 is entered as 
1130)
5.  Set AM or PM with the AM/PM pad
6. Touch the START/+30 Sec pad
7.  The procedure will begin at the set 
time.
