OPEN PROBE  If an open probe is detected, the heat demand is disabled and any running 
cooking cycles are cancelled.  All operator buttons are disabled.  The digital control displays 
the following message: 
 
 
 
 
 
“D” Solid State – OPEN PROBE 
 
 
 
 
 
“C” Computer – PROBE   OPEN 
 
SHORTED PROBE – If a shorted probe is detected, the heat demand is disabled and any 
running cooking cycles are cancelled. All operator buttons are disabled.  The digital control 
displays the following message: 
 
 
 
 
 
“D” Solid State – SHORTED PROBE 
 
 
 
 
 
“C” Computer – PROBE   SHORT 
 
Hi TEMPERATURE – If the temperature is greater than or equal to 415°F (212°C), the heat 
demand is disabled and any running cooking cycles are cancelled.  All operator buttons are 
disabled.  The control displays the following message: 
 
 
 
 
 
“D” Solid State – HIGH TEMP
