S-Video 
Plug a 4-pin S- video cable into this connector 
for output of NTSC or PAL signal to a VCR or TV. 
This feature may not be present, depending on 
your configuration. 
DC  IN 19V
  DC IN 19 V Jack 
The DC-IN socket is where you plug in the AC 
adapter. 
Underside 
The figure below shows the underside of the computer. Make sure the 
display is closed before turning over your computer.

Battery 
The battery pack powers the computer when the 
AC adaptor is not connected. For detailed 
information on the battery pack, refer to 
Chapter 6, Power and Power- Up Modes. 
  Battery Latch 
Slide this latch to remove the battery pack. 
  Fixed Bay 
Houses the optical drive
