Configuration Procedure
Configuring IP addresses for the interfaces of each device
Configure the IP address and subnet mask for each interface as per Figure 36. The 
detailed configuration steps are omitted here.
Configuring Router A
# Enable IP multicast routing, enable PIM-DM on each interface, and enable IGMP 
on Ethernet 1/0/1.
<RouterA> system-view
[RouterA] multicast routing-enable
[RouterA] interface Ethernet 1/0/1
[RouterA-Ethernet1/0/1] igmp enable
[RouterA-Ethernet1/0/1] pim dm
[RouterA-Ethernet1/0/1] quit
[RouterA] interface Ethernet 1/0/2
[RouterA-Ethernet1/0/2] pim dm
[RouterA-Ethernet1/0/2] quit 
Configuring Switch A
# Enable IGMP Snooping globally.
<SwitchA> system-view
[SwitchA] igmp-snooping enable
Enable IGMP-Snooping ok. 
# Create VLAN 100, assign Ethernet 1/0/1 through Ethernet 1/0/4 to VLAN 100, 
and enable IGMP Snooping in this VLAN.
[SwitchA] vlan 100
[SwitchA-vlan100] port Ethernet 1/0/1 to Ethernet 1/0/4
[SwitchA-vlan100] igmp-snooping enable
[SwitchA-vlan100] quit 
Verifying the configuration
# View the multicast groups in VLAN 100 on Switch A.
<SwitchA> display igmp-snooping group vlan100
