logging
Use the logging command in Global Configuration mode to log messages to a
syslog server. To delete the syslog server with the specified address from the
list of syslogs, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
logging {
ip-address | hostname}
no logging {
ip-address | hostname}
•
ip-address — IP address of the host to be used as a syslog server.
•
hostname — Hostname of the host to be used as a syslog server. (Range: 1-
63 characters) The command allows spaces in the host name when
specified in double quotes. For example, #snmp-server v3-host “host
name”.
Default Configuration
No syslog servers defined.
