AAA Commands

This command has no user guidelines.

console#configure

console(config)#aaa ias-user username client-1

console(Config-IAS-User)#password client123

console(Config-IAS-User)#no password

Example of a adding a MAB Client to the Internal user database:

console#configure

console(config)#aaa ias-user username 1f3ccb1157

console(Config-IAS-User)#password 1f3ccb1157

console(Config-IAS-User)#exit

console(config)#

Use the password command in Line Configuration mode to specify a 

password on a line. To remove the password, use the no form of this 

command.

 For commands that configure password properties, see Password 

Management Commands on page 1423.

password [encrypted]

password — Password for this level. (Range: 8- 64 characters)

•

encrypted — Encrypted password to be entered, copied from another 

switch configuration.
