Discovering Network Devices
Enabling ISDP on a Port
Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to enable
ISDP on a port.
Viewing and Clearing ISDP Information
Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to view
and clear the contents of the ISDP table and to view and clear ISDP statistics.
Command

configure
Enter Global Configuration mode.
interface
interface
Enter interface configuration mode for the specified
interface.
isdp enable
Administratively enable ISDP on the switch.
exit
Exit to Global Config mode.
exit
Exit to Privileged Exec mode.
show isdp interface all
View the ISDP mode on all interfaces.
Command
Purpose
show isdp entry {all |
deviceid
}
View information about all entries or a specific entry in the
ISDP table.
show isdp neighbors
View the neighboring devices discovered through ISDP.
clear isdp table
Clear all entries, including discovered neighbors, from the
ISDP table.
show isdp traffic
View ISDP statistics.
clear isdp counters
Reset all ISDP statistics to zero.
