SNMP Configuration
This chapter discusses SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) for network management
and monitoring.
8.1 About
SNMP
Your Prestige supports SNMP agent functionality, which allows a manager station to manage and monitor
the Prestige through the network. Keep in mind that SNMP is only available if TCP/IP is configured on
your Prestige.

8.2 Configuring
SNMP
To configure SNMP, enter 22 from the Main Menu to open Menu 22 - SNMP Configuration, as shown in
the figure below. The “community” for Get, Set and Trap fields is simply SNMP’s terminology for
password.
