Establish a session with the host on the network.
Chris selects the PC serial port that is connected to the terminal server port, sets the port speed, and
enters a CONNECT command to establish a session with the terminal server:

Chris now establishes a session with FinanceVAX with a CONNECT command, and logs on:

Reset the data transparency of the session, if the file transfer program requires it.
Chris will transfer a spreadsheet, so he uses the <Break> key to suspend the session and the SET
SESSION command to set the data transparency to PASSALL. He then resumes the session with
FinanceVAX.
