7.5.2 Leaving messages in a 
mailbox

Call your unit from a remote touch tone 
telephone.

The TAD/FAX greeting message will be 
played.

Press {*} and the desired mailbox number 
({1} or {2}).

A mailbox greeting message will be 
played.

After the beep, leave a message.
Note:

If the caller does not enter a mailbox number 
in step 2, the message will be recorded in the 
common memory.
7.6 Recording your 
mailbox greeting 
messages
The recording time of each greeting is limited to 
16 seconds for each mailbox.
Suggested message: “This is (personal name). 
Please leave your name and message after the 
beep.”

Keep the front cover page open for button 
locations.

Press {MENU}.

For mailbox 1:
Press {#}, then {5}{5}.
For mailbox 2:
Press {#}, then {5}{6}.

Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to select 
“RECORD”.

Press {SET}.

Speak clearly about 20 cm away from the 
microphone.

The display will show the remaining 
recording time.

When finished recording, press {STOP}.

The unit will repeat your message.
Adjust the volume using {A} or {B}.

Press {MENU}.
To check the mailbox greeting message
1. For mailbox 1:
Press {MENU}, then {#}{5}{5}.
For mailbox 2:
Press {MENU}, then {#}{5}{6}.
2. Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to select 
“CHECK”.
3. Press {SET}.

The unit will play the message.
4. Press {MENU}.
To erase your mailbox greeting message
1. For mailbox 1:
Press {MENU}, then {#}{5}{5}.
For mailbox 2:
Press {MENU}, then {#}{5}{6}.
2. Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to select 
“ERASE”.
3. Press {SET}.

Your mailbox greeting message will be 
erased.
4. Press {MENU}.
7.7 Listening to recorded 
mailbox messages

Keep the front cover page open for button 
locations.

Press {>} 2 times.

Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to display the 
desired mailbox number.

Press {PLAY MESSAGES}.
If you have programmed your mailbox 
password, enter it.

Only the new recorded messages will be 
played.

If there are no new messages, the unit 
will play back all the recorded messages.

Press {STOP} to end the operation.
