Introduction
The Polycom SoundPoint IP 601 is a full‐duplex, hands‐free Session
Initiation Protocol (SIP) phone. It provides telephony features such as
Shared Call Appearance, Call Hold, Call Transfer, and Do Not Disturb.

Connect the Network and Power Source
Use Power over Ethernet (PoE) for network and power source
connections unless otherwise directed by your system administrator.

NOTE: The AC power adapter is a separate, optional accessory. Your system
administrator will provide one to you if necessary.
