Select Events 
Select this item to display the event list. Move the cursor to scroll through the 
event list and press ENTER to select event(s) to be exported. 
 
Data Type 
The item is used to select exporting video type. The options are <Normal> 
(export normal video only), <Event> (export event video only) and <Both> 
(export both normal and event video). 
 
NOTE: To export event video only, se the “From” and “To” items at the 
same date and time. Otherwise, not only the event video but also the 
normal video included between the “From” date/ time and “To” date/ 
time will be exported. 
 
Export Format 
This item is for selecting exporting video format. The options are <DRV>, 
<AVI>, and <Original>.   
 
The *.drv file can only be played back with SpecoRemote™ and 
SpecoPlayer™, and multiple camera video can be played from one file. The 
*.avi file can be played back with media players. Note that if multiple channels 
are exported, each channel is exported to a separate file. 
 
4.4.1.3   Digital Signature 
The user can export a video clip with or without a digital signature. Set the 
item to <YES> to export with the signature file, or <NO> to export without the 
signature file.   
 
Each recorded video with a digital signature will be exported automatically 
into four files, including *.gpg, *.drv, *.sig and readme.txt. The *.gpg file name 
is the same as the last eight digits of MAC (Media Access Control) address of 
the unit. 
 
Make sure that an external storage device, such as a USB Hard Drive or USB 
ThumbDrive
®
, is available and connected to the appropriate port for export.
