Replacing the Hard Drive
To replace the hard disk:
1. Carefully position the new hard drive on the four rubber mounting feet in the housing. The
connections end of the hard drive should face the data and power cables.
2. With your hand supporting the hard drive, replace the four mounting screws underneath the
housing.
3. Reconnect the cables to the hard disk. Make
sure the cables are connected firmly.
4. Carefully replace the cover over the housing
and slide towards the front panel. The cover
should be flush on all sides.
5. Replace the screws on the rear panel: 3 short
screws at the corners, 1 longer screws at the
top, and 4 longer screws along the video ports.
6. Replace the short screws on the side panels.
7. Reconnect all cameras and cables. Re-mount
the unit the back of your monitor if desired.
8. Power on the system. If you have installed a
new hard disk, you must format the hard disk
before using the system.
