Set this to ON to output sound from the built-in speaker.

Even when ON, no sound will be output in the following situations.

When recording and in recording standby (video/audio)

When headphones or another device is connected to the

OUT port

Setting this switch in the direction of the arrow, enables the hold 

function that prevents accidental operation. In this state, all other 

buttons are disabled.

Install batteries (3 AA) in this compartment to power the unit. (See “Using
