WatchDog Operation
The WatchDog server is a separate application designed to monitor the health of the IP
Telephone File Server Application main server. The WatchDog application senses which
servers the IP Telephone File Server Application is running and periodically requests download
files. If the download files fail to arrive, WatchDog triggers a recovery script to reset the IP
Telephone File Server Application. Use the Web manager to run the server and modify the INI
files as needed.
