Important:
R Make sure the phone is turned off and the

AC adaptor is disconnected before
removing the battery.

R Use only the battery specified.

Open the battery cover.

Position the SIM card as shown below
with the gold-coloured contacts facing
down and the notched corner turned to
the left. Carefully slide the SIM card into
the SIM card slot until the tab is
positioned on the SIM card edge.

Insert the battery, and then close the
battery cover.

R When the language selection is

displayed, see page 13.

To remove the SIM card, press the tab and
place a finger on the opposite side of the SIM
card edge, then gently slide it out.

Charge for about 3 hours. Charging time and
battery life might differ when the phone is
out of GSM network range.
R When the battery is fully charged, the

charge indicator goes off and “Fully
charged” is displayed.

R Use only the supplied AC adaptor.
