Considerations
• When all trunks in a group are busy, all of the corresponding MCO keys 
light red.
• If LCR is enabled, MCO keys can be assigned for trunk group 89. 
However, the FF keys will not light.
• Trunk lines flash red.. 
• There are seven groups of outside lines: 9 and 81-86. 
• Press the MCO key that flashes green to answer an outside call.
• If there are multiple outside calls, lift the receiver (or ON/OFF) to speak to 
the first one. If more than one call comes in from an extension, then the 
second receives busy tone.
Operation
Action
To originate a trunk call
Press an idle MCO key.
The key blinks (green) as the call is made.
To place a call on Exclusive Trunk Hold (page 3-29)
Press the MCO key.
To place a call on System Trunk Hold (page 3-15)
Press the HOLD key.
To transfer a call
Press HOLD, dial the destination exten-
sion, then press PROG.
