Use the Language menu item to configure local preferences. Use the 

 tool to select the language used on your phone.

Note: This language setting controls the language used in the local 
menus on your phone only. To select the language used by features 
on your phone, press the 

 key, select 

 

and select 

To select the language used in the local menus, press the 

 key 

twice to open the Local tools menu, press the 1 key on the dialpad to 
select 

, and press the 2 key on the dialpad to select

Press the

navigation keys to 

scroll and highlight the desired language 
(for example, German [Deutsche]).

Choose one of the following:

— Press  the 

 soft key to save the 

desired language and return to the 

menu.

— Press the 

Cancel 

soft key to keep 

existing configurations.

3.

Press the 

 soft key to exit to the main 

display. Changes are saved 
automatically.
