DTAD setup (1080 only)
ANSWER STATUS
Use this feature to set up the 1080 phone
to record private messages (not the SYS EXT
messages meant for the associated 1070 and
1040 phones).

1. Press
[ENTER].
2. Press
[ ] or [ ] until you see DTAD SETUP. Press
[ENTER]. The screen displays ANSWER STATUS.
3. Press
[ ] or [ ] to choose ON to turn the
answering system on, or
OFF to turn the answering
system off.
4. To move to the next feature, press
[ ].

To exit setup, press and hold
[ENTER].
NOTE: If the ANSWER STATUS setting is OFF,
the 1080 phone can still record central messages
and extension messages.
