Possible fault messages and their causes
1. Initalisation OSD does not disappear (not even after 20 se-
conds)
 
Check the connection between receiver and control unit
 
 
Control in the main menu if the HDP mode (antenna 
positioning) on the receiver was switched off
2. Satellite could not be found
 
Try the search once more but with a different programme of the 
same satellite 
 
The 
OK-button allows you to exit from the OSD insertion and 
the search fo a new programme. If required, use the 
F button
3. The satellite signal was lost (e.g. possibly due to unfavourab-
le reception conditions)
 
Repeat the search with the same or a different programme of 
the same satellite 
 
Pressing the 
OK-button allows exit from the OSD insertion and 
the selection of a new programme. If required use the 
F-button
4. Voltage supply is too low
 
Your positioner is still operational, but too low voltage supply 
can cause an overload
5. Overload exists
 
If this message appears, check the vehicle‘s voltage (possibly 
too low), the connection with the positioner, possible icing of the 
positioner or the positioner is blocked due to an obstacle 
 
Switch off the receiver, then switch it on again (this procedure 
must be repeated several times, if necessary). Refer in this con-
nection also to point 11 of the user manual for BAS 60, 
functional disturbances
Power-off/Stand-by/Parking position
Switch off the receiver with the mains switch (Power-off)
The receiver is separated from the mains, the control unit automatically switches to the stand-by mode, and the HDP 
remains in its satellite position until the receiver is switched on again.
Stand-by
Pressing the stand-by button once, switches receiver and control box to the stand-by mode. The HDP behaves the same 
as in mode „Power-Off“ (see above).
Parking position
Pressing the stand-by button twice causes the HDP to move automatically into the parking position, whereas the control 
unit and the receiver swith to stand-by mode. After the receiver is switched on again, the HDP moves to its last satellite 
position. More detailed information as to moving the HDP into the parking position is found in the unabridged manual.
