In case of UG221 and UG220, when the switch 
“A”
 on the “Main Menu” is pressed, the following “I/O
Test” is displayed.
Then, the “Serial Test” switch on the “I/O Test” is pressed.  The following “Serial Test” is displayed.
The self-loop test can be executed on this screen.
