9.5 Other Functions
9.5.1 Basic Functions
Using MCP-2A, it is possible to configure almost all transceiver functions as were configured with 
MCP-1A.  And, too, there are unique functions that can only be configured with MCP-2A.

9.5.2 Memory Channels
9.5.2.1 Memory Channels
It is possible with TM-V71A/E and TM-D710A/E to configure even those memory channels created 
with MCP.  In addition, for the usual memory channels, arranging the order of channels via a 
sorting feature can be done.
9.5.2.2 Weather/ Train Channels
It is possible to program train channels, if using a J-type (Japan) transceiver model; or you can 
program weather channels, if using a K-type (U.S.A. and Canada) transceiver model.
9.5.2.3 EchoLink Memory Channels
It is possible with TM-V71A/E and TM-D710A/E to configure even those EchoLink channels 
created with MCP.
